Emily as Dark Berries

Whole as a shiver,
the shake that began
our season without
a threshold, that turned
my body into a fact
that took away
the meaning of exits
is never going to stop.
I am always looking
at her with my hands
cupped. A greedy man
would bring buckets.
Some skin just looks
like it wants to give in.
