September 2024
This month’s collection features the work of Skyler Ray Lewis and V.S. Rakenduvadhana.
Skyler Ray Lewis
Skyler Ray Lewis received his B.A. at Wichita State University in 2014. Since then he has been been traveling and working odd jobs, from construction to education and now he’s a letter carrier for USPS in Wichita, Kanas. In his off hours he is diligently revising/writing/musing his poetry and upcoming novel series called Lambi Chronicles. Alongside this he is a digital artist and a line artist ( basically using micron ink pens for highly complex creaturely forms). You can find one of his poems recently published at Wichita State University’s literary magazine, Mikrokosmos ( Issue 70, Spring 2024).
V.S. Rakenduvadhana
V.S. Rakenduvadhana is an Indian writer, poet & visual artist based in Helsinki. While her diurnal energies are devoted to her work as a neuroscientist, she has had a lifelong nocturnal affair with philosophy, music, and art in its many forms. Her works are published/forthcoming in magazines including Indianapolis Review, Camas, Rigorous, Amethyst Review, Arboreal, The Ear, Oyster River Pages and decomp.
The pluralistic framework of her art examines the deific, Meta and the mystical in the banal. Through her heterogenous and interdisciplinary endeavors, she emphasizes a stance of operating without dissecting science, art and philosophy. Her recent art pieces depict the inextricable and innate divinity of tellurian forms: expressed as platonic, organic and anthropoid hymns. Website: http://www.rakenduvadhana.com
