April 2024

This month’s collection features the work of Pia Quintano, Michael Moreth, Carol Radsprecher, and Olufolahan Akintola.

Pia Quintano

New York City-based writer/painter. Amazingly came back here to live after having left because I worked at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and loved it. Am very drawn to very visual fiction and paintings with a strong narrative. My paintings were sold at the Frank J.Miele American Folk Art Gallery until it ultimately closed.

Michael Moreth

Michael Moreth is a recovering Chicagoan living in the rural, micropolitan City of Sterling, the Paris of Northwest Illinois

Carol Radsprecher

Carol Radsprecher is a Brooklyn-based painter and digital printmaker. She earned her MFA in painting from Hunter College, CUNY, in 1988. Her work has appeared in several solo shows and numerous group shows and has been published in many publications.

Distortion of the human figure is a key element in her work. These distorted representations of the figure interact with abstract areas in a confined space. Most of her figures are representations of the female figure — one of the first landscapes we see as we enter the world.

Olufolahan Akintola

My name is Olufolahan Akintola. I am a lover of artworks with a passion for excellence. I believe art is a universal language that can be used as a medium of expression of deep emotions, conscious and subconscious feelings. Art is my beautiful journey.
